Hey, I’m Marina. I’m a year 11 student at Christchurch Girls. I enjoy writing and getting outdoors, in particular; the beach. I also love travelling whether that be around our gorgeous home or internationally. I enjoy learning about the history of places! As a history enthusiast, WHNZ gives me the opportunity to learn and teach others about the inspiring women who had a massive role in raising our New Zealand.

Maddie Davidson – Inspirational, Resilient, Hard-working, Role Model
Maddie Davidson is a New Zealander who made history by becoming the first female trampolinist selected to represent New Zealand at the Olympics. Maddie started trampolining at the age of seven and first represented New Zealand at age twelve, and she has not stopped since!
